Our studio offers a range of yoga and meditation classes which are suitable and accessible for all:
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Vinyasa flow takes you through a series of postures using the breath. The postures are designed to open your hips, strengthen your core and build your upper body. It’s fast changing sequence will fire you up and you’ll experience an intense workout. These classes are suitable for all levels.
Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini yoga is also called the “yoga of awareness.” The primary aim of Kundalini yoga is to awaken the kundalini energy, which lies coiled, serpent-like, at the base of the spine. In Kundalini yoga, practitioners use breathing exercises, physical postures, chanting and meditation to unlock this energy. These classes are suitable for all levels.
Hatha Yoga
This soothing style of yoga encourages you to open to the postures rather than push to your maximum. While still challenging, the focus is on slow and steady breathing into the sequence and aligning the body to allow release and relaxation. This class is suitable for all levels.
Restorative & Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative, floor-based practice where poses are held for 3-5 minutes at a time. An ideal complement to more yang practices (e.g. dynamic yoga or sports training), yin yoga allows us to target the deeper yin tissues of our bodies, targeting the deep connective tissues of the hips, pelvis and spine. Restorative yoga is a similar style where poses are held for even longer and additional props are used to support the body. This class is suitable for all levels.
Kiddies Yoga
Children’s yoga is a great way to increase children’s confidence, self-esteem, coordination and self-awareness. A great relaxing exercise to strengthen their body, concentration and social skills. Kiddies yoga will follow a different theme each class allowing the children to fuse imagination, movement, breath and fun to just be! Our kiddies classes are taught according to age group and start from 3years.
Meditation Classes
Our meditation classes are taught according to the lineages of our different meditation instructors. Meditation is the practise of sitting still to observe and calm down the mind. This state of still-mind is achieved by using different techniques such as mindfulness, visualisation, gratitude, love or compassion. The classes will begin with a talk on the topic, discussing experiences during meditation and will followed by the meditation practice followed by an open group discussion. These classes are suitable for all levels.
Sound Bath Therapy Classes
Our regular sound bath classes are a first of their kind in South Africa. Each class consists of a live musical performance specifically composed to elevate participants vibration and frequencies, bringing about a state of calm and peace. Participants are encouraged to simply sit back, relax and enable themselves to be enveloped by the powerful and healing energy of the Nad (spiritual sound energy).
African Moon Gatherings
Our African Moon Gatherings are a mix of breath-work, yoga, meditation and intention setting, curated to form a special moon ceremony every New and Full Moon. These gatherings occur on the evening of every New Moon and Full Moon from 18:45 to 20:30 and are donation based making them accessible to all and suitable for all levels

Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra is the practice of yogic sleep. During these sessions the student remains in the supine position of Savasana (corpse pose) while the body is supported to main comfort using various props. The teacher then guides the class through a series of relaxation, breathing and visualisation exercises while the student is encouraged to remain still but relaxed, drifting to a different level of consciousness; the subconscious. These classes often follow a chosen theme or topic which is linked to the resolution/intention the student sets at the beginning and end of their practice. This class is suitable for all levels, no physical activity is necessary.
Budokon Yoga
Considered a science, art and philosophy which synchronises classical yoga with, martial arts, calisthenics, animal locomotion and life science, this physically demanding style reshaped modern yoga by rejecting the qualities of a yogi as defined by the yoga sutras, in place of more contemporary constructs of morality, spirituality and discipleship. The style was created as a condition practice for movers of all types seeking the highest level of agility, mobility, stamina, and strength and this class is suitable for all levels.
Ashtanga Yoga
Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic, flowing style that connects the movement of the body with the breath. The method stresses the importance of daily practice of a set series of movements. There are six series of Ashtanga yoga sequences, which the student progresses through at their own pace. This classes is suitable for all levels.
Yoga Focus Groups
The yoga focus groups will be private small group based classed themed around a certain medical condition and incorporating yoga therapy principles. The classes will include breathing exercises, meditation and movement all with the central theme of alleviating the illness in mind. Groups will be a maximum of 8 students and will occur weekly.
